International Conference on Road Safety at Work
2008-11-04
Taking place February 16th-18th 2009, in Washington D.C., this conference will provide a forum to discuss strategies to prevent road traffic crashes, a leading cause of workplace death, injury, and disability in countries around the world. This is the first international conference dedicated to the topic. It is being organised by the U.S. National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) with co-sponsors, the World Health Organization, Pan American Health Organization, International Labour Organization, and National Safety Council.
