Una Idea a la que le Llegó su Momento

Empleo decente se refiere a una situación de trabajo que permite a la persona por lo menos mantener a su familia y a si misma por encima de una línea de pobreza moderada. El empleo es importante, pues más del noventa por ciento de la población tiene una forma de empleo dependiente para su sustento, especialmente, en el tercer mundo, donde los niveles de inversión son todavía muy bajos.

El transporte rural tiene una relación directa con el empleo, la cual en ningún caso debe sobredimensionarse. Toda área rural que no cuente con infraestructura de desarrollo ni con un sistema de transporte permanecerá excluida y pobre, pese a al impulso que reciban sus recursos de valor. Incluso ahora, muchas veces un gobierno no se esfuerza concientemente en desarrollar el transporte rural y así pierde la oportunidad de mejorar el estándar de vida de su población a través de la generación de empleo.
