IFRTD Executive Committee meeting welcomes back Priyanthi Fernando

Last minute preparations are underway for IFRTD's annual Executive Committee meeting, which commences this Wednesday 05th December. It marks a key moment in IFRTD's strategy implementation process as a new governance structure will be approved by the Executive Committee that reflects both the principles of non-hierarchical participatory networking and IFRTD's commitment to becoming a legally independent organisation. The meeting will take place in SDC's head office in Berne, Switzerland, where we look forward to welcoming representatives from all IFRTD's constituents - Secretariat, NFGs, Communities of Practice, donors, multilaterals and individual members. This year we are especially glad to welcome back IFRTD's previous Executive Secretary - Priyanthi Fernando - who will be attending on behalf of the GATNET community to ensure IFRTD remains accountable to its gender inclusive strategy.
