African Road Safety Conference in Ghana : an update on IFRTD’s participation

Being a member on the Advisory Committee of the African Road Safety Conference which will be held in Ghana from 5-7 February 2007, IFRTD has been invited by UNECA to organise a panel discussion on Rural Transport Safety.
The panel will include the following :IFRTD is responsible for the faciliation of the panel as well as the discussion afterwards. For more details please visit http://www.who.int/roadsafety/events/4arsc/en/index.html
- A synthesis of the five studies that IFRTD has commissioned in, amongst others, Madagascar and Cameroon;
- A presentation on Gender and Safety issues in Cameroon ; the case of the Byam Salam women.
