Mamoeketsi Ntho
Mamoeketsi is a lecturer at the National University of Lesotho in the department of Development studies. She is a gender specialist teaching courses on gender and development, and concurrently supervises research projects focusing on gender and development. The projects cover wide development issues such as transport, rural development, HIV/Aids, and urban issues and problems. Mamoeketsi is also an associate researcher for Women and the Law in Southern Africa (WLSA). WLSA is a research trust involved with advocacy and research on the law and the way it affects women. She has, as well, facilitated advocacy sessions for various women's groups including church groups, parliamentarians, youth clubs, and schools. she has been involved in several research activities within the National University of Lesotho and WLSA. Currently Mamoeketsi is working on a project on rural transport services and their impact on women's mobility patterns.
